Lightweight Soothing+ Emulsion

I ordered this product and omg its amazing so light weight hydrating and soothing … impressed truly

DO NOT RECOMMEND. I have sensitive skin with on and off dryness. The winter is approaching so I was looking for something I could use for my sensitive skin to keep it hydrated. Immediately when I pumped it into my hand I was taken back by the extreme poignant smell. This was an immediate red flag because most sensitive products do not smell so strong.

I patch tested per the site instructions and immediately experienced burning and itching. But I did not notice any rash and eventually the itching went away. Ignorantly, I put it on my face after 48 hours. Immediately, I was itchy, burning, and within 2 days I developed a horrible rash, flaky skin, and multiple itchy bumps around my mouth and nose where it burn the most. I met with my dermatologist after 3 days of use who confirmed that this product likely caused perioral dermatitis - and drastically damaged my skin barrier. It is importsnt to note that until this point o have been exclusively using only cetaphil gentle face wash. I contacted customer service per their 45 days back promise which genuinely is a farce. They claim that because this is perioral dermatitis CAUSED by their product they are not considering it an “adverse reaction”. I’m not even sure who is reviewing the photos they requested from me? Is it a licensed physician who can actually make that determination or a customer service rep who just cuts and pastes what AI tells them to? They also claim that because I’m not exclusively using their product, which at this point I am SO GRATEFUL I didn’t purchase more of their line, that this is also grounds for them not offering me a full refund. This is a HORRIBLE way to run a business and definitely doesn’t make it sound like you stand by your product. For the price I would expect they really believe in their products. Now I am stuck with a horrific rash and condition caused by products I overpaid for that will likely take antibiotics to heal and I’ve only been offered a partial refund, after a 20% “stocking fee”, and pay for shipping.

If you have sensitive skin I really don’t recommend the risk unless you’re willing to be out of pocket a lot of cash.

I use it before the Probiotic + DS Rescue serum (day and night), I have PD and sensitive skin and this doesn't irritate me at all, but it is still very hydrating, I use it as my primer under makeup too and it works great. Doesn't clog my pores at all which is good if you are only using water to cleanse your face. Not sure which helped me more out of the two products I use, but both are worth the money !!

My favorite moisturizer ever! Did so much to return my skin barrier to health and cured my perioral dermatitis! I left the dates on the pictures. I had tried everything even things from my doctor and essential oils! That first progress photo was only 2 DAYS later.

Very hydrating but not greasy, this face cream is the only one I can thrust since I had perioral dermatitis few years ago. Each time I had to use other brand, my skin react. This cream keep my skin calm from rash. Just can’t use something else anymore. And I love it!

I was hesitant to buy because of the cost. I tried EVERYTHING to get rid of my perioral dermatitis. I had two prescriptions from my doctor, essential oils, lotions etc.

More money. Boy was a wrong! Two days in it had made a huge impact! In a WEEK my skin was back to normal and I kept using it because it has been amazing on my skin!

During the pregnancy of my second son, I developed perioral AND periorbital dermatitis. I have very sensitive skin and only can use Jane Iredale makeup, which even that made it worse. I tried everything from the most expensive to the most basic and even diy stuff to get rid of it. Nothing worked. After my sons birth, it continued to flare up daily and around my nose and eyes became especially irritated. Then I found these products. Within DAYS my face wasn't painful and within a few weeks, every bit of dermatitis was GONE. I am so grateful for these products and the people who created them! They are a godsend and continue to be the only cleanser and moisturizer I use.

Absolute Skin Saver! I have been using Amperna products for a couple years now and I cannot use anything else. It instantly calms my skin and helps it to keep looking healthy. I’ve even got my husband onto using it. Any time I have tried to use anything else I always find myself coming back to Amperna as it’s the only thing that works for me. I would highly recommend it to everyone.

My sensitive skin just soaks up this lotion! It leaves no greasy feeling behind and goes great under makeup. I apply throughout the day, as needed, and am super happy with it.

I love how this absorbs into the skin and leaves no shine, yet doesn’t make me look chalky. Amperna has dramatically improved my complexion and I feel so much more confident.

I am absolutely obsessed with this product and have recommended it to so many of my friends. I had perioral dermatitis for nearly a year around my mouth and a weird spot on my cheek... I was going to the doctors, tried 3 different creams and it just wouldn’t go away. This is the one thing that has made it go away and I swear by that. I get compliments on my skin often. I apply this every morning and night after washing my face with their gentle cleansing product... amazing. I genuinely can't say enough positive things about this product! I've just repurchased the facewash in a bigger bottle, but still have about half of my moisturizer bottle left (and I have super dry skin)!
I can't recommend this product enough :) It's lightweight enough to wear under my makeup, and I really enjoy it!

I struggle with eczema around my eyes and jawline mostly, and this moisturiser along with Soothing Serum really helped my skin to rehydrate. The redness and flaky skin slowly went away after a couple of weeks, and although I still have to manage the sensitivity, my skin feels so much better and more comfortable. Would highly recommend to try it out.

I've been using this product (alongside the cleanser and a few of the other amazing products) for a year now after experiencing perioral dermatitis. My skin will regularly react to skin products even ones that claim to be for 'sensitive skin', but Amperna changed that - all products I have tried have been super calming and with consistent use my skin has remained mostly clear. This moisturiser is probably my favourite product - so light and hydrating with zero irritation!
