Purchased a few weeks ago and I’m incredibly happy with how my skin looks and feels. After spending too much money on expensive skin care and ruining my skin barrier, these are the only two products that’s repaired the damage. Really impressed.
Absolutely at my wits end with perioral dermatitis, unable to find anything through the doctor to help. Prescribed malaria tablets that were upsetting my gut something chronic and saw a review for Amperna and thought I would try it out on a whim hoping it would work. Absolute bloody life saver. Calmed and cleared my skin within 2 weeks, started working within days. I honestly thought I would never be one of those people writing a review with before and after photos but this stuff bloody works!!!! Amazing!

this is the only thing that has saved my face from PD flare ups I’m just mad at myself for not buying it sooner. This and the moisturizer is my favorite I didn’t care for the rescue toner spray didn’t see any difference with the spray but the other two products I mentioned are forever part of my skin care routine!
I have struggled with peri-oral dermatitis and acne on and off for more than a decade. I had tried all manner of things to fix my skin (seriously, you name it - I have tried it), but as soon as I would get the POD under control, any treatments for the acne would flare it up again. It got to the point where the only things I trusted to put on my sensitive skin were a basic moisturiser and Elidel (Pimecrolimus, a topical immunosupressant). After starting birth control in mid 2024, I had my most significant flare up ever, at which point I had also been on antibiotics for more than 2 years, which had lost all efficacy. I was so obsessed with my skin, and constantly being inundated with advertising for products. After everything I had tried, I was extremely skeptical, but Amperna stood out to me because of the customer testimonials. I spent hours trawling through reviews and photos and eventually invested in the lightweight soothing emulsion and the probiotic+ DS soothing serum. After struggling for so long, after about a fortnight of using these products every day I felt confident enough to stop taking antibiotics. Almost a year later and I am still using my Amperna products consistently. I haven't had even a hint of POD, and my acne flare ups are almost non-existent - maybe just one or two spots around my period. I have even been able to introduce some other products to reduce scarring and hyperpigmentation, such as as the vitamic c and 10% resurfacing lotion. If you had told me this a year ago I would not have believed you - I was too afraid to even hope. So as someone who was convinced by the testimonials, and didn't believe they could be true for me too, I felt compelled to write a review (for the first time in my life!) for any other skeptics out there who may be tossing it up. If you are looking for a sign, this is it. Please try these products, especially the probiotic+ DS serum. I am so grateful I did.
I can’t say enough good things. It cured my Perioral Dermatitis. I tried everything!!!! I was miserable. This serum is seriously magic and worth every penny.
Really great soothing serum that calms my skin down can’t live without this
I was wondering why my PD was spreading and finally a Dr said 'get off topical steroids' (after 30 years!). I was going through TSW. I stopped steroids and that's when my PD got so much worse! (this is expected).... but then I found Amperna and started my healing journey with the soothing duo, cool water washing only, no make up and I hid away. I also started taking probiotics/used red light therapy and regularly drink collagen. Be patient, after 3 weeks it wasn't as painful, after 6 weeks you could see it healing (tip: take before and after pics, you'll see it change). It has now been 3 months so I've introduced the Amperna cleanser and only use mineral makeup - no fragrance! Amperna works, it really does, and you must do exactly what they recommend, - you can email them anytime. I'm PD controlled after 30 years, have clear skin and have never felt better in my skin - I'll use Amperna for EVER!
I struggle with eczema around my eyes and jawline mostly, and this moisturiser along with Soothing Serum really helped my skin to rehydrate. The redness and flaky skin slowly went away after a couple of weeks, and although I still have to manage the sensitivity, my skin feels so much better and more comfortable. Would highly recommend to try it out.
I ordered the Alt along with the cleanser and ds soothing serum for my perioral dermatitis. I didn’t plan on using the Alt on my dermatitis but after a couple of weeks I did a bit of research on the ingredients and went for it lightly covering the dermatitis. I had no reaction whatsoever and in fact I think it has helped to clear the dermatitis! My lesions seem to clear and heal more quickly. The rest of the skin on my face has calmed, is more even, has reduced blotchiness and is looking more radiant. A gorgeous product!
This probiotic + ds soothing serum has been the absolute bomb for my perioral dermatitis. I find it acts like a medicated cream would. I kid you not, when I have a new perioral lesion pop up which can happen out of the blue like a cold sore, I put just a little of this across the lesions and within hours they have reduced in size. I suffered a relapse of my perioral dermatitis after years of not having it. I used amperna last time and it cleared the dermatitis up. I don’t know why I waited so long to buy this serum again. This time, I battled with the dermatitis trying to get it under control for 3 months with no change. I ordered amperna and within 3 days my dermatitis started to clear and reduce. I don’t understand the dermatitis and it has taken 8 weeks to completely clear up. I will continue to use this serum everyday. It’s magic!
I have used this (50 ml) over about 2 months and still have a decent amount left. It has made my skin so clear complexion. I have freckles and some pigmentation and blotchy redness from perioral lesions and random acne. I find that along with the Alt product my skin on my face is so even in terms of complexion. It’s reduced the blotchiness look and my skin is glowing. I have sensitive skin and can’t use other vit c priducts so this is perfect!
I have used the cleanser for my perioral dermatitis but also when I’ve not had a flare up just on my normal skin. It works amazingly for perioral dermatitis and I find that it calms the dermatitis ands reduces the amount of extra bumps I get. I also find it calms my acne. I don’t have severe acne but get pimples on my face from sweating or just hormones. My skin is very sensitive and I break out easily. I would highly recommend trialling this cleanser if you’re not sure. It doesn’t dry my skin out and feels so calm and healing when using it.
This cleanser is very gentle to your skin. Perfect for sensitive skin and skin that has already too many problems to use something more harsh.
I saw these products a few months ago. And with all the good reviews decided to give it a go. Never looked back, they're so gentle yet hydrating and my redness has completely gone!

This product, the cleanser, and the emulsion have been a super important step in healing my perioral dermatitis. But I also had multiple stool tests done and did an elimination diet. I removed alcohol, gluten, dairy, legumes, and moderate and high histamine foods for months. I had probiotics, l-glutamine, and supplements tailored to my unique gut health needs. And my skin has made leaps and bounds in just a few months.
Purchased the retinol ALT and within a couple uses my skin is already becoming clearer! Highly recommend it to any sensitive skin girlies who are prone to breakouts. Love this line so much!
I have been struggling with dermatitis for a few years now. I’ve been to multiple dermatologists, + aestheticians, tried so many products + treatments but everything made it worse. Dermatologists always tried to put me on steroids or antibiotics (which I did for a month and it only made it worse) I was so frustrated and there seemed to no pattern in what made my skin more or less inflamed. I tried the soothing duo after DMing the Amperna IG with some questions- they got back to me so quickly with really great advice. They didn’t try to oversell me the whole line- said I should start with the soothing duo then add on from there, which I really appreciated. Within the first week or so it made a vast improvement, and since using it regularly my skin has totally cleared up - I’ve received so many compliments on my skin which hasn’t been the case in some time!
The customer service is so great and personal, I really love the products, they apply well, they also smell gorgeous and it ships to the US very quickly. I couldn’t recommend enough- I never leave reviews but had to for this company. It’s been such a relief finding these products.
