Life changing skincare!!
My daughter started going through TSW about 18 months before we found Amperna it was the hardest and scariest time of our lives. She had got through the worst of it but we were stuck at a point where she was in a continual flare of red and sore or dry and itchy. Having tried a million different creams that mostly made things worst, but at best made no difference, I was scared to use anything on her but knew she needed something. Then I found Amperna!! I looked a lot at their website and read everything I could find about them. Kiri had gone through TSW herself and for the first time in over two years, I felt validated-this was even before reaching out! Finally I found someone who recognised the condition and was trying to help treat it, from a science based viewpoint and gently. So I took the plunge and reached out.
After arguing with GPs for years that this was not eczema but TSW caused by over prescribed Steroids, I felt so light and emotional to Finally be heard. I could hear in every reply that Kiri and her team understood and genuinely wanted to help. We started with just the body wash and the DS rescue serum and followed the protocol given by Amperna religiously. Within a week or two I could see changes starting. Very subtle but there-less angry, less red. By six months she was in a completely different space. Her skin was stronger and thicker able to tolerate simple things like showers, being out in the sun and exposed to pollen and other air allergens, or sleeping on bedding without towels. A year in, she is able to be a typical pre teen girl and play about with make up, have sleepovers, over indulge in treats and play for the day at the beach. I cannot explain how these things, that sound so basic and what I took for granted five years ago, mean to us now. As a mum seeing her able to just be normal and not having to repeatedly say “no” or “we better stop or not because it might make you skin worse” it means the world. Anyone who is or has gone through TSW or cares for someone going through it will understand.
Throughout our Amperna journey Kiri and the team have been on hand to help and answer any questions or offer advice and support. It is not a quick fix at all, it takes time and consistency and patience but for us it worked wonders. It’s gentle but effective and actually smells lovely too.
I cannot thank Amperna enough I am continually recommending them to everyone. The amount of money we spend on big brands on the shelves, that sell us a promise but with zero support or guidance or customer care, yet we are nervous to try a small business who started their company because they’ve actually “been there” and want to help. I urge anyone with a skincare concern to give Amperna a go. They’ve changed our lives!!

Have always struggled to find an exfoliant that doesn’t cause to my skin to flare. This product has been amazing and has never caused in irritation - even with daily use. Helps to reduce redness and keep skin feeling smooth.

Love the Soothing Duo, these two products have strengthened and calmed my skin so much

So my skin generally hates EVERYTHING. the soothing duo is quite literally the only skincare product I've ever used that hasn't upset my skin in some way. I've been using it since January 2023 and have bought it over and over. I'm 32 and everyone tells me how good my skin is (since using Amperna!). But I felt I wanted a bit of an extra boost to deal with some texture I have. I was nervous to try the retinol but I've had absolutely no issues. I use it once or twice a week, and I find that it makes my skin a little dry but that's to be expected, and this resolves very quickly, within a few days. It's really refined my skin's texture, just make sure to use sunscreen every day when using retinol and put it on your skin when your skin is completely dry! I noticed once it made me itchy and this is because my face was damp when I applied. After doing some research this is apparently a big retinol no-no! Great product, as always. Thank you Amperna.

This cleanser is really light and leaves my skin fresh. It’s not too harsh and doesn’t cause any redness like I’ve had other cleaners do.

I have been using Amperna now for a year and this product both on its own and together with other Amperna products is a game changer. 💙
I use it on a daily after Balance & before Hydrate & HydraProtect & with breakouts as a spot treatment left on overnight.
